The Company was founded by Neil & Amanda Jenkins in Torrevieja in July 2005. Neil & Amanda recognised the need for an English speaking professional accountancy and legal service company aimed primarily at English speakers who are either residents of Spain or who are non residents but own Spanish situated property or other Spanish situated assets.
SWM offers advice to both individuals and companies, with the emphasis on customer service. In considering your tax position, it’s our goal to take the strain on your behalf, and to make sure that you fully understand both what needs to be done for you and why. This is achieved by virtue of our key strengths, which are that our practitioners are professionally qualified in Spain, they are native English speakers and crucially, they are fluent Spanish speakers.
Neil Jenkins
Neil is the co founder and managing director of Stalwart Wealth Management. Neil has worked in the financial services sector since 1991, during which time he has been both a practitioner and a senior manager. He holds the UK’s full Financial Planning Certificate in addition to a range of complimentary financial qualifications. For the last 9 years he has worked as a tax and wealth management advisor specialising in Spanish taxation, tax avoidance and investment management. Neil is married and has lived in Elche, Spain since 2000. Neil is a keen cyclist.
Amanda Jenkins
Amanda is the co-founder and Director of Tax at Stalwart Wealth Management. She runs the tax department, which manages all aspects of tax including personal, self employed, company and IVA returns. The tax department also handles Wills, Residencia and NIE applications. Amanda holds a BA (Hons) degree in Spanish and European Business from Leeds Metropolitan University, a Diploma Tributación y Asesoría Fiscal from the Centro Para La Cultura y Conocimiento and is a member of Asociación Profesional de Expertos Contables y Tributarios de España. Amanda is married and has lived in Elche, Spain since 2000. She is a dedicated equestrian and enjoys training and competing in show jumping events along with her children.
Cindy Horsfall
Cindy works alongside Amanda Jenkins. Before relocating to Spain Cindy worked for a legal practice, DLA LLP in Leeds (UK), as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in the Business and Recovery Department. Following her successful qualification as a solicitor she moved to the Real Estate Department, where she practiced as a conveyancing solicitor. Cindy relocated to Spain in 2005, where she initially worked alongside a Spanish abogado at AG2 Asesores SL in Torrevieja dealing with property law, wills, Residencia, NIE applications and taxes. Cindy joined Stalwart Wealth Management SL in January 2008. She is married and lives in San Miguel de Salinas, Spain with her husband Glyn and two sons.
